Charlie Wrigley
Committee member
Charlie Wrigley grew up in central NSW at Condobolin. After gaining experience working in Western Australia and Queensland for several years, he completed a Bachelor of Business (Agriculture) at Marcus Oldham before returning to the family business in 2022.
The family operates Wrigley Cattle Co, an Angus seedstock enterprise run alongside a commercial cattle herd and a cropping program. The business is operated by Charlie’s parents, Andy and Natascha, together with his sister Anika and partner Anna. Their permanent pastures are primarily lucerne and clover, complemented by oats-dominant forage crops used to fatten young stock through winter and spring. The cropping program includes both continually cropped paddocks and pasture-dominant paddocks that feature one or two years of cereal break crops. Their rotation consists of wheat, canola, barley, and pulses such as lupins or field peas.
Charlie is enthusiastic about his involvement with Central West Farming Systems, where he looks forward to learning more about what happens behind the scenes, while engaging with new ideas and farming practices. He is passionate about maintaining profitable and sustainable farming businesses, particularly in the central west region.
