Southern NSW Innovation Hub Node Launch & CWFS Field Walk – 1 September 2022

Southern NSW Innovation Hub (SNSW Hub) official launch sharing the background of the Hub and CWFS Field Walk will follow. This will be the first time we have hosted a field walk since 2019 and we are excited to welcome new and existing members to The Fettell Centre on 1 September.

From 9.30am learn about SNSW Hub involvement in the community with the launch of the local node. Kicking off the field walk local agronomist Chris Baker will be exploring how the strategy of N Banking can tackle the uncertain N supply and yield gap problem.

Followed by soil scientist, Dr Cassie Schefe to discuss the Cool Soil Initiative (CSI) project and carbon emissions for the Central West.

Cristy's unique career has taken her from country NSW to the city lights of Clarendon Street South Melbourne and back again. With an early career in radio as a copywriter and creative strategist, she is now a Jill of all trades as a graphic designer, website builder, blog writer, video editor, social media manager, marketing strategist and more.

Cristy has won two Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs) for Best Ad and Best Sales Promotion, and even has an 'Employee of the Year' certificate with her name on it.

Cristy and her husband James have traveled extensively through Russia, China and South East Asia, and have two fur-babies, Sooty (cat) and Panda (puppy). Cristy loves drinking coffee, meeting people to drink coffee, coffee tasting and coffee flavoured cocktails. She also enjoys road trips, TED Talks and watching cat videos on youtube.
